I-Clad is a
brick faced internal wall cladding system from Eurobrick, especially for
interior projects.
Suitable
for both commercial and domestic interiors it is versatile, fast and simple to
install and the slimline profile minimises loss of valuable interior space.
The
plasterboard backer panel is made of a 12.5mm thick plasterboard laminated with
Eurobrick’s ribbed HIPS skin. The horizontal ribs align and support the brick
slips to form accurate brick courses easily.
Using this
panel can provide a slimline profile starting from as little as 28mm including
the brick slip, and the installed system weight starts from just 45kg/m2.
The backer
panel can be fixed to a number of substrates including timber or light gauge
steel studs or existing plywood or plasterboard surfaces. Where I-Clad is fixed
direct to battens on framing systems, these must be correctly positioned to
meet the system fixing requirements as identified in the new installation
guide.
Eurobrick have supplied I-Clad to many office, retail,
leisure and hospitality projects over the last 25 years, including Bella
Italia, Costa Coffee, The Botanist, Top Shop, Primark and SuperDry to name just
a few, as well as many domestic interior projects.
For smaller internal applications, such as fireplaces and
inglenooks, Eurobrick also supply cement based adhesive and brick slip spacers
as an economic alternative to using the panel systems.
All of Eurobrick’s systems provide a finish that is
indistinguishable from traditional brickwork and come with a guarantee of 25
years. You can rest assured that I-Clad has been extensively tested with
British Board of Agrément (BBA) certification and is also LABC registered.
