Glidevale has updated its loft hatch range to make product selection and identification easier. The new range includes push-up and hinge-down models with new branded packaging to benefit both stockists for merchandising purposes and housebuilders for ease of identification on site. Options include hatches with enhanced insulation to meet the minimum U-value requirement of the Approved Documents, as well as 30 and 60 minute fire resistance options with Class 0 flame spread. Hatches with key-operated security bolts are also available for tenanted properties or public areas.
Hatches include integral seals to significantly reduce water vapour migration into the loft space, reducing condensation risk. The seals virtually eliminate heat loss by air movement around the hatch door and exceed airtightness and thermal performance requirements.
