Sunsquare have been market leaders in the rooflight industry for many years now. It’s history is almost exclusively based around innovation. More recently the company have been concentrating on improving the electronic element of their award-winning skylights. One of the issues with wiring has been that a qualified electrician is required to wire the skylight in and, even with instructions, occasionally this can go wrong if the incorrect voltage is applied and can be costly. Sunsquare have designed a new “plug and play” system which not only negated the need for an electrician, but ensures that everything works perfectly straight out of the box.
It also means that the addition of rain sensors, remote controls and any other accessory is fool-proof too. Most impressive is that the whole thing just plugs into the mains like any other household appliance. We’ve even printed a template for drilling on the instructions to make it even more simple…
There are times in an industry when the game is changed, and this is one of those moments.
Even though it looks like a simple piece of equipment, the 2 years of testing with the BSI to gain the CE marking means that this now changes the customer experience when buying a skylight. The rest of the industry will have to play catch up again.
