GROHE, the world’s leading provider of sanitary fittings launches its first ever ceramics range in the UK: the new Bau collection harnesses parent company Lixil’s 80 years of expertise in the ceramics market and pairs it with GROHE’s years of award-winning innovation and design leadership. GROHE now provides a high quality and beautifully co-ordinated bathroom offering for specifiers and designers - all from the same brand.
Research by GROHE shows that, when asked which mixer best suited a particular wash basin, very few people could give an immediate and decisive answer. Sixty percent of people suggested asking the manufacturers, saying that each combination is individual and that they could not give a recommendation. Now, thanks to GROHE, the worry of how to match up the right mixer with the right basin is no more! GROHE offers a totally coordinated solution, with a wide range of matching taps, flush plates and accessories that work perfectly with its ceramics range.
Raj Mistry, GROHE UK Marketing Director, comments, “Entering the ceramics market is the next step for GROHE, working towards offering a complete bathroom solution. The new collection is suitable for both residential and commercial buildings and is designed to be a ‘PerfectMatch’ with GROHE’s stylish Bau mixer lines, making planning a bathroom easier than ever before by providing a one-stop design offering. The range reduces the need to specify products from different manufacturers, so designers can rest assured that the end result will be a perfectly matching bathroom in terms of both looks and functionality- with all products designed to complement each other”.
Featuring a clean and modern design, the collection will co-ordinate beautifully with a large range of bathrooms styles. Offering wide design variety, specifiers can choose between basins, toilets, urinals and GROHE Bau Cosmopolitan accessories, such as soap dispensers and towel rails, to ensure a perfectly matching offering for their project. All fittings are available in various heights and models to best suit the room and space, from full and semi basin pedestals to rimless wall-hung, floor-standing and close coupled WCs. A variety of mounting options are also available for design flexibility.
Michael Gray, GROHE UK Product Manager, says “To make the range really stand out from other ceramics offerings on the market, the Bau collection comes with GROHE’s latest technology helping to ensure maximum hygiene levels in the bathroom- especially important for projects. This includes GROHE WC rimless technology ensuring that the entire surface of the toilet is easy to reach and effortless to clean, while a Quick Release seat makes it simple and fast to remove the entire toilet seat for maximum cleanliness. There’s also an option for a soft or regular close seat to suit the needs of a variety of customers”.
For ultimate peace of mind thanks to outstanding GROHE quality, the Bau collection is available with a five year guarantee on all products.
