Hygienic Stainless Steel Drainage For Food and Drink Processing

The layout and design of a drainage system is crucial especially within the food and drink processing industry. A drainage system requires an appropriate flow rate to cope with the volume of liquid waste water especially during wash downs.

A Drainage system goes hand in hand with a resin flooring design so that the waste water drains effectively into the channels or gullies. Doing this prevents any pooling or standing water, which is prone to bacteria build up.

Aspen drain gullies and channels are manufactured in either 304 or 316 grade stainless steel providing more hygienic benefits compared to other materials such as concrete. The benefit of stainless steel is that it resists caustic cleaning chemicals which are commonly used during wash downs in processing factories. Stainless steel also does not corrode, rust or weaken making it an excellent long term solution.

Aspen drain gullies and channels are designed to especially with stand the harsh chemicals and temperatures that are regularly exposed within food and drink processing environments.

The gully product range caters for a range of requirements including; anti backflow valves, side outlets, shallow inverts and back inlet pipes. There is also an extensive range of drainage channels and covers available to suit light to heavy foot traffic.

There are a wide range of stainless steel drainage products available suitable for any industrial or commercial hygienic environments. Aspen design and manufactures all of thestainless steel range suitable for your drainage system and can customise any of its products for a complete bespoke drainage system suitable for your environment.

The complete product range is available through the Aspen website alongside their full technical data. For any bespoke requirements, please contact the Aspen Technical Sales Team.
