Sliding and folding door hardware manufacturer, P C Henderson, is pleased to announce that one of its most popular sliding door hardware products – Soltaire – is now available in a range of four different kit packs.
The new range caters for maximum door weights up to 250kg making it the companies highest door weight capacity kit pack.
Since its launch in 2012, Soltaire has become renowned as one of the smoothest and most reliable sliding door hardware systems on the market.
Made from 316 stainless steel components and anodised aluminium track, the product has proved to be particularly popular in areas of high corrosion such as sea fronts, areas of exposure and colder climates.
Andrew Royle, Sales and Marketing Director at P C Henderson comments: “As one of our most popular systems we recognised the need to create a kit pack version of the product. Heavier weight door projects often require quite complex specification – the introduction of a Soltaire kit pack removes this complexity enabling us to offer an ‘off the shelf’ standardised product and a simple specification process for our customers.”
Catering for internal and external applications, the newly developed kit packs come complete with track, hangers, guide, track stops, brackets, flush pulls and guide channel – everything needed to install one face fixed single sliding door. A single or double soft stop system is also available to be purchased as an optional extra for the Soltaire 120 kits.
In addition to the professional market the kits are a suitable product offering for any DIY enthusiast wishing to complete the installation themselves. A clear, concise and easy to follow installation video has been created to aid the end user in the fitting process.
