Surfacing specialists, The Bituchem Group, is offering architects and specifiers the opportunity to receive a free, informative presentation on the features and benefits of hard-landscaping materials.
The company has created the presentation as part of its customer service ethos in order to update and educate industry professionals on the latest hard-landscaping and surfacing technologies and solutions.
The presentations are hosted by Bituchem’s Marketing Manager, Mark Stott, who has been delivering the presentations to architect practices and other companies for the past year. The presentations are available to companies in England and Wales at no cost and can be held at their offices or another convenient space.
Mark Stott commented, “We have formed these presentations to show people what we have to offer and how our products can be used in a range of applications. We hold them at a place convenient to the client and take the time to present our products, giving an overview of the various hard landscaping options and answer any questions they may have. We think that it is important for people to be fully educated in these materials so that they can be confident in the products that they are specifying.”
He continued, “We have had a great take up this past year and I have had the pleasure of meeting with many great companies in the industry. We have also received some exciting new applications as a result of these presentations and it is great to see that people have found the presentations beneficial for their upcoming projects.”
The Bituchem Group, based in Gloucestershire, manufacture and supply a range of asphalt materials, including its popular Natratex Cotswold and Colourtex, which have seen a number of applications in Royal parks, including Kew Gardens, the Hurlingham Club, and the Duke of York barracks, to name a few. Bituchem has also supplied its materials to housing developments, to create attractive, contemporary roads and footpaths, as well as school playgrounds, highways regenerations, retail spaces and other domestic or commercial spaces.
Last year, Bituchem advanced on its Natratex Cotswold product to produce a porous alternative to the natural-looking asphalt material in response to the demand for Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). The Natratex Cotswold Porous replicates the natural process of water infiltration without the need for conventional drainage systems. The company has also developed Natratex Heavy Duty 10mm especially for highways applications that see heavy vehicular use.
