Expert training provider, Exova BM TRADA, will be continuing its successful Timber Frame Construction training course with a one-day session on Tuesday 6 September 2016 at its High Wycombe site in Buckinghamshire.
The course is aimed at architects, building contractors, developers, building inspectors, timber frame manufacturers, quantity surveyors and clerks of works and will provide attendees with a better understanding of timber frame design, construction and use.
Delegates will also be introduced to the relevant design standards and building regulations.
With its increasingly well-known benefits of speed of build, environmental performance and flexibility, timber frame is now widely used in both commercial and residential developments.
Gaining an understanding of its use and applications is essential within our industry today.
The training is provided by the co-authors of TRADA’s Timber Frame Construction 5th edition, Lewis Taylor and Robin Lancashire. Lewis is a Timber Frame Consultant who provides independent third party checks on timber frame buildings and also draws on his experience of thermal performance and low energy building design.
Senior Timber Frame Consultant, Robin Lancashire, has extensive on-site experience and provides best practice construction advice to all areas of the timber frame industry.
