Solus Ceramics has launched a new range of floor and wall tiles that reinterpret the intricate properties of basalt stone into beautifully engineered porcelain tiles.
The new Basalt range takes full inspiration from the natural mineral and replicates the finely grained composition of the stone, offering architects and designers a tile series that posses a gentle and serene consistency.
The tiles are densely populated with gentle speckles and flecks of lighter tones, providing an almost cloudy appearance that brings a sense of realism to interior or exterior projects.
The versatile range is available in Natural R10 (A+B) and polished Lappato finishes and is made up of six natural colours, ranging from volcanic charcoal grey through to warm sandy beige. In addition, a matching selection of mosaics and stylish décors is available upon request to support the Basalt range, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of any residential or commercial installations.
Mark Ayliffe, Solus Ceramics Area Sales Manager, said: “The Basalt range is a product that will continually return to the forefront of tiling trends.
“We recently completed a project at the University of West London where the Basalt range was used at the heart of the installation and helped to create a modern and contemporary design that will continue to stay fresh and stylish for many years to come.”
The Basalt range is available in a wide selection of large format sizes, beginning at 300 x 300mm through to 600 x 600mm and 600 x 1200mm.
