The new DAD 3700 mailbox features an ingenious 45° sloping body design which cleverly acts as an additional anti-fishing measure to stop theft of mail through the slot and help combat ID theft.
The boxes are fully SbD compliant as testament to their security and safety. The DAD 3700 is the only front delivery, front retrieval, sloping mailbox on the market today.
This unique design of the 3700 mailbox was created by DAD to combat the threat of mail fishing. The mail is delivered through the flap and over the integral anti-theft device in the slot, before dropping down a 45 degree chute to the back of the box. This makes the mail almost impossible to reach at the back of the box making fishing incredibly difficult. The mail is retrieved through a front opening door with a security lock. The DAD 3700 mailbox is ideal for apartment blocks, student accommodation, and commercial blocks – in fact any setting that requires banks of mailboxes.
The 3700 mailbox from DAD has been engineered in the EU. The letterboxes are attached to a one piece front plate which is designed to make the whole unit neat and no screws are visible from the outside or inside. An internal anti-theft device is fitted as standard behind the flap and all boxes are fitted with a lockable internal door supplied with two numbered keys with 500 variations. The one piece front plate can either be made of powder coated aluminium, silver anodized aluminium, stainless steel or in any RAL colour to match project requirements and other features of the building.
