Leading manufacturer of ventilation products, Xpelair, is sharing expert advice on improving air quality through ventilation innovation at this year’s EcoBuild.
With a presence on the Travis Perkins Group stand, visitors will be able to see how Xpelair’s range of installer friendly products, such as the Stratum 120Q heat recovery unit, can help tackle rising fuel costs and poor indoor air quality.
Lee Stones, Category Manager at Xpelair explained: “As the Building Regulations continue to move towards creating more air tight homes, which is ideal for reducing monthly heating bills, the potential lack of adequate ventilation can increase the presence of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), mould and damp within the home, which can contribute to poor indoor air quality.
“Poor ventilation in homes is a major concern, as well as having a potential impact on health, it can also lead to the cosmetic and structural damage to a property. EcoBuild will give us the opportunity to address the common misconception that modern ventilation systems impact negatively on energy bills, when in fact a wide range of energy efficient units have been developed to meet the needs of the market in terms of size, cost and installation time.”
Visitors to the stand will get the opportunity to find out about Xpelair’s extensive product offering for new build and retrofit projects including its range of extractor fans, Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV), Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) and Positive Input Ventilation (PIV).
To hear more about ventilation solutions available for the housing sector, talk to Xpelair at EcoBuild 2016 on stand E2050 and E3050.
