Ubbink group have manufactured and supplied the UK market with flat roof vents and terminals for over thirty years. The range has grown in previous years with the introduction of terminals which have the ability to duct from 100mm to 180mm.
Previously there has been some confusion for specifiers when trying to source the correct flat roof vent or terminal to suit their project. Therefore Ubbink group have produced a wider range of flanges to help aid specifiers and installers fit ventilation with ease.
Keith Plummer, Technical Manager of Ubbink UK for over 20 years commented “When flat roofs were either three layer felts or asphalt the type of flange material was set in stone. Now with single ply systems becoming more popular, Ubbink needed to be able to offer the specifier and contractor a more compatible solution. Which allows ventilation and termination to be installed more successfully into the wider range of flat roof coverings.”
There are 3 new flanges to add to the existing range of felt and asphalt Ubbink already offer;
Which suit the OFT1 void vent/terminal, the OFT4 terminal which is twin walled above the roofline and incorporates an integral condensation drain. Also the OFT5 which is a terminal fully insulated terminal. The range offers high free vent areas with a low Pascal resistance figure and suits domestic individual room fans, cooker hood extraction and whole house heat recovery ventilation.
