True Scale from Axiom® by Formica Group brings you closer to nature

Formica Group, a worldwide leader in the decorative laminate market, introduces True Scale, one of the most exciting design additions to its Axiom® kitchen worktop range.

Developed by Formica Group, True Scale captures the subtle variations inherent in natural materials such as stone or wood. With no repetition across the full width of the laminate sheet, patterns can be unveiled in their full-size beauty, whether it is on kitchen worktops, breakfast bars or splashbacks.

Architects, designers and specifiers can choose from nine Axiom® True Scale decors, which provide a variety of looks and colours to coordinate with any kitchen interior.

Black Storm, Black Sequoia, Slate Sequoia, Breccia Marrone and Breccia Pacifica capture the uniqueness of natural stone, the large scale veining and fine detail such as character markings, providing a stunning feature and a focal point for any kitchen. Black Sequoia and Slate Sequoia are finished in new Scovato texture, a smooth slightly chiselled surface for a natural earthy feel.

Based on the natural scale and layout of wood, designs such as Shadow Oak, Bark Microplank and Walnut Microplank offer inherent small variations between boards and warm colour tones, creating a visually striking worktop surface.

Also available in True Scale and exclusive to Formica Group is Steel Materia in Scovato which mimics a distressed metallic finish for an ever more popular industrial look.

True Scale offers not only an innovative cost-effective design option; it also provides advantages against heavy wood and stone worktops in terms of lifting, cutting and onsite installations, alongside the inherent durability and hygienic benefits that High Pressure Laminate (HPL) offers as a material.

Axiom by Formica Group worktops and accessories are GREENGUARD® Indoor Air Quality Certified as low-emitting products, promoting a healthy indoor environment. Formica Group is also the first laminate manufacturer in the world to be awarded the Carbon Trust’s Carbon Reduction Label, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability.
