Tiny homes have returned to the media spotlight today. Following on from our blog post on Wednesday, the press continue to speculate on the popularity of down-sizing.
Channel 4 are due to run a series fronted by George Clarke called Micro Designs later this autumn. The programme will focus on very small build projects for both living and working purposes.
Kevin McCloud's new show Man Made Home, which will air on Sunday 23rd September, documents his construction of a small off-grid dwelling.
Kevin McCloud said: “This is the shed of my imagination; a shedtastic opportunity to explore off-grid ways of living, meet craftspeople of all ages and disciplines and ask whether living a life where we make and do is better than one where we simply buy and consume."
Are tiny homes the answer to our housing crisis?
