Following completion of the circa £5m Coles Green Court at Dollis Hill in the London Borough of Brent, residents of Network Housing Group have been able to move, and settle, into their new homes.
Positioned around a central green, the scheme replaces 1930s dwellings which were no longer fit for purpose. It consists of two apartment blocks; one of four storeys and one five storeys providing 34 flats, and four semi-detached family houses.
Cambridge based T R Freeman Limited undertook the roofing and cladding works on the project for Bugler Developments Ltd. Aros Architects, who designed the residential scheme, chose PIGMENTO by VMZINC in Red to give the housing a unique look and feel.
The team from T R Freeman installed the PIGMENTO to the mansard roofs of the apartment blocks, with detailed works required around the bay window finishes, and to the first floor external walls and pitched roofs of the houses.
Gary Webb, MD for T R Freeman said: “We’re delighted that our work on Coles Green Court has given the residents an eye-catching feature for their homes. The PIGMENTO in Red we applied provides a palette of red-tinged, mineral hues which reflect the light and set off the natural texture of the pre-weathered zinc.”
