Highly regarded for its outstanding sound and under floor heating performance, ScreedBoard took home the winners trophy at the Housebuilder Product Awards 2014.
Recognised in the “Best Internal/Interior Product” category, ScreedBoard features a wealth of benefits for developers and property owners.
A total of 9000m2 of ScreedBoard has recently been installed in the student accommodation development at Oxford University and in 169 new homes at the award winning Merton housing scheme in Brenley Park, Mitcham. As an interlocking (no screws) floor board, installation times are considerably reduced, allowing developments to be completed more quickly and efficiently.
ScreedBoard is the only dry screed board featuring 100% recycled content, which is a significant benefit for Architects and specifiers aiming to achieve maximum BREEAM points. As a dry screed flooring system, ScreedBoard removes the drying times typically associated with wet screeds. Its dry properties allow floor finishes to be introduced immediately and for other trades to be introduced far sooner in the build, allowing the development to be completed sooner.
ScreedBoards are able to accept direct application of a multitude of floor finishes including carpets, vinyl, laminates and ceramic tiles. Optimum living conditions for occupants are delivered via the boards excellent noise reduction and underfloor heating properties.
