UK manufacturer, Pland Stainless, continues to produce products for the Healthcare sector fully compliant with HTM63, HTM64 & HBN00-10 part C for Healthcare.
Whilst they have the flexibility to offer a broad range of bespoke products, Pland’s range of healthcare products comprise standard items specifically designed to comply with the Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) 63 and 64 and also meet the more recent publication of HBN00-10 part C. Their healthcare products are available in two grades of austenitic stainless steel, 304 the standard grade and appropriate for most healthcare applications and 316, a higher quality material available on request.
Jersey is a collection of 11 sit-on sink tops in stainless steel. Sizes include 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800 and 2400mm in length and there’s a choice of single or double bowl and drainer options. All sizes have an ample bowl measuring 533x381mm and 200mm in depth and are supplied with a softwood subframe, sound deadening pads and integral earth tag to BS4190. Usually these are mounted on IPS panels and cantilevered on brackets, but if the sink needs front legs, these are available too.
As the name suggests, the Sicily sinks have a 550mm or 650mm projection with a 55mm deep front edge with safe bullnose profile and 50mm rear upstand. These sinks come in a variety of widths from 1000mm to 1800mm and with a number of bowl and drainer options. Each sink has a pressed drainer, sound deadening pads, integral earth tag and tap holes at 180mm and 200mm centres. They come supplied with either a wood underframe to facilitate fixing to cabinets or a metal underframe when ordered with optional legs or brackets.
Sark is a versatile single or double bowl sink without overflow that comes with cantilever brackets for wall mounting. The single bowl is 600mm square and the double 1200mm wide x 600mm deep. As standard, the sink is provided without tapholes to suit wall mounted taps which are also available from their healthcare range.
Samoa is a free standing combination washbasin and bucket sink. Supplied with adjustable feet, hinged grid, polished bowl, WRAS approved monobloc swivel mixer tap and waste kit. Rear leg insert allows for pipework and services and the unit can be wall mounted with joggle strip and fixing holes.
The Penang sink is designed for areas where casting materials are prepared and soaked. It features a deep drawn polished 533x381mm bowl with round sump and no overflow. Supplied with removable perforated stainless steel strainer basket, andclose fitting cover with recessed handle. The Penang is supplied in either a choice of L/H or R/H drainer.
The Trinidad Surgeon’s scrub up trough comes in a range of standard sizes 800, 1200, 1600 and 2400mm in length, 400mm in depth and 325mm in height. However, bespoke lengths from 600mm to 3400mm can be produced.
Java, Fiji and Bali are all stainless steel wall mounted slop hoppers designed for waste disposal and are provided with a continuous flushing rim. Java is a single bowl version of the Fiji double unit above and Bali a single unit. The Bali is supplied without grid to meet Healthcare standards, however can be supplied with the grid if required. All are available with a choice of either rear inlet for IPS panels or top inlet for solid walls. A stainless steel cistern is also offered for the front fix installation.
