Sangamo’s range of digital time switches now offer the widest range of lighting compatibility ever. Two new ‘Astro’ timers, switches that track dusk and dawn automatically, have been released which are fully tested with all modern lamps including LED and CFL lighting.
The Sangamo 72101 (one channel) and 72201 (two channel) Astro time switches, designed to fit on DIN Rail, use latitude and longitude or the nearest city to give accurate sunrise and sunset times exactly where you need them - times can be offset by up to 90 minutes to ensure light is switched on before daylight gets too low. The switches have a wide range of applications from car parks, stairwells and retail displays to modern LED decorative lighting and seasonal festive lighting control.
Managing Director, Mark Robinson, stated “As more and more businesses and organisations turn to LED lighting to save energy usage it makes sense to control them with the most adaptable, feature-rich time switch available to maximise energy savings. Our range is now fully compatible with LED loads and the offset and timed functions, in particular, allow you to control your lighting to exactly when it’s required.”
Sangamo’s products are distributed through thousands of electrical wholesalers throughout the British Isles, you can find your nearest stockist, or get further information, by visiting www.sangamo.co.uk.
