As an innovator in the healthcare industry, Intastop Ltd will be exhibiting at the third annual Design in Mental Health conference and exhibition at NMM, Birmingham 19-20th May on stand 114.
Renowned for the UK’s original continuous geared hinge, Intastop, established for over 20 years, has gained a reputation for being a leading innovator in the areas of door and wall protection for the healthcare and anti-ligature markets.

The SECURAHinge is designed to reduce patient suicide and self harm via its unique design registered features such as its tapered tip, which benefits from being tamper proof via a secure fastener and reduced gaps around the bearings in both the open and closed positions. The new slim line bearings are constructed using a specialist composite material that prevents cracking and are profiled to greatly reduce ligature risk plus minimise self-harm when in an open state for example, when a wrist is rubbed continuously along the hinge.
Products developed by Intastop are designed to minimise maintenance and increase the overall lifecycle of healthcare interiors. Its range provides comprehensive solutions on protecting the door and the people who use it.
Other products on display at DIMH includes the new Removable Door Stop with interchangeable key and the new to market Intaglaze system – which will be fully revealed for the first time at the exhibition.
