Anti-scald bathroom product manufacturer Inta is helping aspiring plumbers across the country swot up on all things anti-scald after equipping City & Guilds accredited colleges and training providers with a host of high quality products and educational tools.
The firm, which partnered up with leading international expansion vessel manufacturer Zilmet to create tailored college ‘starter packs’ for those embarking upon plumbing and heating courses, has provided its expert learning packages to several colleges in London, Birmingham, Sheffield and Essex.
Valued at around £200 each, the packs feature Inta’s bestselling Intamix, a 15mm pressure reducing valve, the firm’s famed ‘Everything you need to know about anti-scald’ booklet, and a Zilmet expansion vessel complete with a sizing calculator.
The products will be used in practical lessons and assessments at the colleges, with the view of acquainting budding plumbers of all ages with quality products early on in their education. The firm also hopes to ensure that the next generation of plumbers and installers understand the importance of anti-scald products and can get to grips with Part G building regulations.
Inta has dedicated seven years to anti-scald campaigning, developing a host of industry acclaimed anti-scald products and distributing more than half a million ‘Everything You Need To Know About Anti-Scald’ info-booklets to tradesmen in the UK.
With technology continually advancing, Inta also provides online learning modules for plumbers and installers, with the goal of equipping them with free expert knowledge.
