Hanson UK has today (August 1) been shortlisted in five categories at the 2012 Brick Development Association (BDA) awards.
Six projects featuring Hanson bricks have been nominated in the Best Housing Development 1 to 5 units; 6 to 25 units and 26 units or more categories as well as the Volume Housebuilding Award and Best Refurbishment and Renovation Project.
The annual BDA awards recognise excellence in design and construction using bricks and are one of the longest established and most widely respected design awards in the UK.
Paul Lacey, Hanson’s national marketing manager, said: “Hundreds of projects are submitted each year and we are delighted that six showcasing our bricks have been nominated for top honours.”
Winners in each of the 16 categories will be announced at the 2012 Brick Awards at The Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel, London, on Tuesday November 13.
