Dynamic valve manufacturers Frese has completed work on a major business park scheme in London in record time, creating a super energy efficient heating system.
Frese have supplied a series of energy efficient valves for the heating and ventilating system of the £80m Building 7 at Chiswick Park.
Building 7 is a 12 storey, 334,000 sq ft office building, the largest building on the Chiswick Park development which comprises more than 1.8 million sq ft of building stock providing a workplace for 12,000 people, making it one of London’s most prominent business destinations.
Frese supplied 1060 of their Modula Compact units complete with Metering Station and solder union couplings for the fan coil heating and cooling systems (HVAC) in the building.
The use of the solder union couplings was to facilitate easy installation utilizing the fan coil unit tail pipes. The pressure independent flow and temperature control valves ensure precise control in the heating and cooling system and can lead to up to a 50% saving on the energy a circulating pump consumes and also lead to a major reduction on energy bills for a building, as boilers and chillers work more efficiently.
