Newhey Carpets launched the ground-breaking Colortec+ Express in summer 2014, allowing clients to choose from over 60 designs, recolour using their 290 colour tuft box, receive a sample within 48 hours and crucially all with 4 week manufacturing lead times.
Interior designers, specifiers and end users can literally “colour to their heart’s content” and have been doing so in their numbers as the collection, which is totally manufactured at Newhey’s facility, has already been specified for a host of hospitality and leisure projects around the UK.
Colortec+ Express is supported by a fully interactive online design tool allowing users to search designs, re-colour and view in a host of 3D room settings. The whole collection is based around providing clients with a fast and efficient service enabling users to have direct access to over 60 designs and the ability to tailor specifically to each project, all at the touch of a button.
Each design within the programme is illustrated in 10 versatile colour options providing a useful starting point to the re-colouring process. Design boundaries are removed with an industry leading 290 standard shades and once the re-colouring process is complete samples can be produced and despatched within 48 hours if required.

Colortec+ represents the next generation of carpet production using high speed patterned tufting technology and providing greater design and colour flexibility. This results in a cost effective, high performance and sustainable alternative to traditional woven carpet.
