Washroom Washroom has continued to invest in smarter, more efficient ways of working with the installation of new state-of-the-art equipment at its factory.
Washroom specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of washroom products across a diverse range of sectors and has rapidly become a market-leader in the industry.
In order to meet ever increasing demand, it has recently expanded its Essex-based facility and has invested heavily in new state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
The expansion means a greater quantity of products can be stored on site, ensuring a constant stock of materials which can be difficult to obtain yet which are increasingly requested. The revamp has also created more dedicated production space for Washroom’s Specialist Joinery Division, which has been increasingly instrumental in recent projects particularly within the commercial sector.
A new state-of-the-art five axis Homag CNC machine, which uses the latest CAD software to link seamlessly with Washroom’s design department, has also been installed at the factory, along with a new high-tech laminate press and edgebander, ensuring it is able to continue to deliver a quality finish on time, every time. Meanwhile, its new centralised dust extraction system, which collects all waste centrally before it is then used to fuel the site’s biomass boiler, ensures the factory is even more energy efficient.
Washroom has also invested in a new fleet of fuel efficient vans all fitted with smart satellite navigation systems. The vans have been especially designed to fulfil a vast range of different loading and delivery requirements unique to Washroom’s specific project needs to ensure every aspect of the process is as efficient as possible.
