Vinypur is new from Vinylit at Ecobuild

New to the Vinylit stable of rainscreen facades, is Vinypur, an insulation panel complete with integrated battens which give simple and extremely rapid fixing.

The insulation panels are a cost effective alternative to traditional methods and provide a high performance insulation solution.

The 1200 x 600mm panels require just four fixings per panel making them very quick to install.  A special feature of the Vinypur system is the partially embedded battens which virtually eliminate cold bridging and also automatically create an air space without the need for additional cross battening.

The stepped edges of the panels interlock for simplicity and speed of installation and the lightweight also makes for easy on site handling and installation.  The panels are extremely strong and durable and ideal for buildings with no cavity walls whilst, with panel thicknesses from 60mm to 160mm, being equally suitable for almost any refurbishment or new build projects requiring external wall installation.

Panels have a double sided breathable geo-membrane coating and the 120mm thick version has been tested to achieve a thermal transmittance of just 0.233 and a heat conductivity resistance of 4.29 (m2-k)/W.

Whilst Vinypur is designed especially for use with the Vinylit range of facades – including Vinytherm stonechip – it can be used with most cladding systems.

Vinypur insulation panels provide a highly efficient and cost effective, easy and quick fix, modern and convenient alternative to more cumbersome traditional mineral wool infill.  They are consistent in size and especially easy to cut and fix onsite and can be fixed in virtually any weather conditions.  All in all it is a better insulation system which saves time and therefore money for the building contractor.
