Total Glass is the first window and door manufacturer in the UK to achieve the Diversity in Business Accreditation (DiBA) that shows the principles of equality and diversity are firmly embedded across all of its operations.
The accreditation, developed by the EW Group, focuses on five key themes: organisational leadership; people and performance management; employee and community engagement; client satisfaction and supplier diversity.
Achieving DiBA certification helps an organisation in meeting regulatory standards, as well as harnessing and managing diversity effectively for business success.
“As a 21st century company, we feel this accreditation is of benefit in both moral and business areas and helps us to manage diversity effectively and improve our business performance,” explained Mike Hurst, Quality Manager at the Liverpool-based PVC-U and aluminium window and door manufacturer.
“DiBA accreditation not only ensures that we play our part in developing Equality and Diversity within our culture, but it builds competitive advantage in winning bids, particularly in the commercial sector, and attracting the best talent.
