Wandlite represents a brand new concept in LED tube lighting.
It is a versatile, waterproof, 12v, long-life LED tube light with 360 degree lighting, perfect for exhibition displays, backlit walls, outdoor illumination, interior lighting, and much, much more.
It will be launched at LuxLive 2013 in London’s Earls Court on the November 20 and 21.
Jonathan Evitt, founder, wanted to design a light which was visually attractive, to get away from the utilitarian design of tube lights and produce something different. The spirally-wound LED tape gives a new visual slant to this type of product and the semi-translucent end fittings means the whole light glows from end to end.
Manufactured in Britain to the highest EU standards, the Wandlite tube runs off a standard 12v power supply but draws only 1.2 amps per metre. In situations where electrical supply is not possible like outdoor events, campsites or emergency/ disaster relief, the Wandlite tube, together with the right adaptors, can be connected to a solar-powered panel, rechargeable battery, cigarette lighter or 12v car/truck battery and also generator power.
Wandlite can be used in many markets to provide cheap, clean, eco-friendly lighting: exhibition & display, events, retail, agriculture, horticulture, caravan, camping, outdoor, home, office, airports, bus shelters, public transport, and more.
Available in 800mm, 950mm, 1000mm, 1250mm and 1500mm and 2000mm tube lengths, the Wandlite can be used either as a stand-alone light, or just connect two or more Wandlite tubes together, for the ultimate in lighting flexibility. The light can be supplied in custom lengths and colours if required.
Whether your Wandlite system is connected to mains, 12v lead battery, generator or run by solar panels, you are guaranteed to have instant bright white light at the touch of a button for years without having to replace awkward, hard to reach fittings high up in the rafters, stables, barn or greenhouse roofs.
