The National Landlords Association (NLA) advice line is extending its operating hours to help members access the service.
The advice line will now be open later on Mondays, from 9am – 7pm, to help landlords who are unable to call during normal working hours. It will continue to open from 9am – 5pm from Tuesday to Friday.
Landlords make over 800 calls per week to the advice line, with each call taking an average 13 minutes.
The most common reasons landlords call the advice line are with enquiries about tenancy deposit protection, troublesome tenants, use of a letting agent and HMO licensing.
Richard Price, Director of Operations, National Landlords Association, said:
“The advice line is one of the core benefits of being a National Landlords Association member and it is now receiving more calls than ever from landlords seeking information on their lettings.
But many people have difficulty finding time to call for advice during normal business hours. That is why we are extending the advice line hours on a Monday so landlords can access it into the evening.
This advice line is a free service for members of the NLA and we have a dedicated team of professional landlords who provide practical advice on what you need to know to let a property and manage the tenancy.”
The advice line will be open until 7pm every Monday, except Bank Holidays.
