Tarkett, a global leader in the resilient flooring marketing, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Crump to Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, with effect from 1st January 2012. This follows David Clark’s move to Hong Kong to become Asia Pacific Area Vice President.
Jason has a wealth of experience within the flooring industry having begun his career at prestigious British carpet manufacturer Tomkinsons Carpets Ltd. Jason then gathered valuable experience at subsequent positions within the flooring industry. Following his role as Sales Director for Belgian textile manufacturer DOMO Group, Jason joined Tarkett in 2007 as Residential Sales Director.
The move certainly paid dividends with his promotion to MD in just four years. Jason feels that Tarkett offers him the best prospects to develop his skills and make a difference. He relishes the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, commenting, “My ambitions for Tarkett are to profitably and sustainably grow our market share in all the segments we operate in.”
Jason is married and lives in Worcester with his wife and their three children. In addition to spending valuable time at home with his family, Jason’s interests include football, cricket and road cycling.
