Sotech, a leading UK manufacturer of rainscreen and bespoke architectural fabrications, has launched its new specification website following a sustained period of development.
The website offers a comprehensive guide to the Sotech-Optima range of highly engineered systems, including the flagship Optima FC Secret Fix, a flexible rainscreen available in a range of materials and fully tested and accredited to CWCT Standards.
Visitors to the website can download technical details for the full range of systems, including Optima SC4 Hook-Pin, Optima TFC Through-Fix and Optima FC Flexible Secret Fix rainscreen systems together with Optima IPC Secret Fix Interlocking Plank. Also incorporated into the site is the range of Optima MAS extruded products, which includes a radical baguette screening solution simulating a natural terracotta baguette screen but offering a precision, factory manufactured lightweight and recyclable solution capable of being man-handled on site with ease.
In addition, the website details Optima Clip-On coping together with a wide range of specialist fabrications from column casings to louvres which integrate with the rainscreen products to provide the specifier with a single source of supply.
The website also contains a number of high profile case studies which demonstrate a diverse range of applications for the Optima range of products, including the 600 million Liverpool Parkway Transport Interchange, the 70m Xscape family entertainment centre in Glasgow and a new residential development in Manchester, Erie Basie. Here, Sotech took the unusual step of submitting a specimen through-wall construction to undergo rigorous testing by leading research organisation BRE.
Also incorporated into the site to provide an additional resource to the specifier, is a detailed review of the material options available across the Optima range including aluminium, zinc, copper, ACM and stainless.
