Samuk Lift Trucks Limited has received an ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ from the Hangcha Group. The award acknowledges Samuk’s success as the largest European distributor of the Chinese group’s acclaimed range of fork lift trucks.
As the first ever Manufacturer’s Award by the Hangcha Group, it was presented to Samuk’s Chairman, Sir Neville Bowman-Shaw, by Mr Jason Wu, Hangcha’s Deputy General Manager, at the recent CeMat Exhibition in Hannover.
The Award states: "Since the co-operative relationship between Hangcha and Samuk Lift Trucks was established,Sir Neville Bowman-Shaw DL has contributed all his enthusiasm and rich professional experience in the forklift industry to the development of Hangcha forklift trucks. With greatest respect and gratitude, Hangcha hereby presents the Outstanding Contribution Award to Sir Neville Bowman-Shaw DL."
Commenting on receiving the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’, Sir Neville says, “I was surprised and honoured to receive this award on behalf of everyone at Samuk. My connection with Hangcha began nearly 30 years ago. As Chairman of the Lancer Boss Group, I was introduced in 1982 to the company’s predecessors via the Chinese Embassy. Since those early days, Hangcha, has adopted many of the innovative Boss features and has invested heavily in both design and manufacturing facilities. Today, Hangcha, which only makes lift trucks and access platforms, is widely recognised as one of the world’s exclusive producers offering a comprehensive range of high performance, reliable trucks with capacities up to 30 tonnes. Future expansion will be devoted to container handlers and warehouse trucks for the same band of users.”
