The central theme for Ritec at Ecobuild 2012 is ‘The causes of Problem Glass are MAD’. Moisture, Alkalinity and Dirt (MAD), attack glass and reduce original light transmission. Problem Glass is any glass that has broken, or is likely to break, its original promises of visibility, clarity and cleanliness. At some stage during its life, most glass will come under attack from this evil trio, resulting in Problem Glass.
Ritec will also extend its range beyond glass by introducing the Ritecoat SystemTM. Designed to create the same ‘non-stick’, easy clean, low maintenance properties as the ClearShield System TM on glass, the Ritecoat System TM is used for the renovation, protection and maintenance of other surfaces such as metals, paintwork and plastics.
On show will be Ritecoat R625TM, designed specifically for use on stainless steel and other metal surfaces to make them resistant to staining and discolouration. Cleaning is easier, without the need for harsh and abrasive cleaning methods.
Managing Director of Ritec International, Stephen Byers, says Ecobuild is central to the company’s strategy for promoting the company’s cutting edge developments in durable surface protection which can have a positive impact on the environment. He comments: “Ecobuild is the perfect platform to demonstrate the environmental benefits that our ClearShield and Ritecoat systems can bring to all market sectors. Ritec’s commitment is underlined by our certification to ISO 14001, the ultimate ‘green credential’.”
