• The Retrofit London Conference - supported by the Mayor of London, this event on 06 December will explore the challenges and opportunities of low carbon retrofits in the capital. The event aims to bring together hundreds of stakeholders from across the region to build momentum around low carbon building retrofit.

The Retrofit Summit builds on the success of last year's Green Deal Summit, which took place over three days at the NEC alongside Retro Expo attracting over 3,000 visitors.
The summit will look at how to engage with customers effectively and will examine the challenges of delivering retrofits in order to meet demand. Key note speakers include: Peter Whittington, Department for Business, Innovation & Skills; Solitaire Townsend, Futerra; Brian Berry, Federation of Master Builders; David Adams, Willmott Dixon Energy Services; and Terry McGivern, Institute for Sustainability.
The Retrofit London Conference, developed in partnership with the Institute for Sustainability, will draw upon the expertise of experienced retrofitters and disseminate best practice from clients who have already piloted retrofit projects, providing social housing stock landlords, businesses and other local stakeholders with strategic and practical support to better develop their approach. Invited speakers include; Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, Peter Boyd, Chair of Energy Efficiency Deployment Office, DECC, Peter Knott, Chief Risk Officer, Green Investment Bank and Clare Hierons, CEO of Carbon Leapfrog.
The Retrofit London conference is one of 12 regional Retrofit Roadshows that is shining a spotlight on the low carbon building refurbishment and retrofit opportunities on a region by region basis across the UK.
