Once a rainwater harvesting system is installed, how easy is the maintenance? High quality, low maintenance and durability are the hallmarks of Rainharvesting Systems Ltd’s products and systems which harness the rain for the benefit of both the environment and those paying the water bills.
The special vortex filter cleans the rainwater ready for non-potable uses and incorporates a vertical filter mesh which uses gravity to maximise cleaning efficiency, a unique feature amongst the systems available. The filter is also tough and durable. No protective chamber is needed around the filter in order to withstand heavy weights on the ground above - unlike other filters. Hence Rainharvesting System’s products are well suited for urban areas where limited space has to accommodate rainwater harvesting with car parks or driveways. Lack of a protective chamber also makes filters easily accessible for maintenance.
The control panel, with its high quality components, is simple to install - even a DIY enthusiast could do it. It’s even simpler to use ensuring minimum hassle for future house occupiers who’ll need to do very little to obtain maximum benefit from their rainwater harvesting system.
The choice of storage tanks includes ones made from polyethylene (PE), tough enough to be embedded into the ground using excavated soil, not concrete - easier and cheaper. Once in place, the durability of PE means tanks will last the lifetime of a building, and probably well beyond.
