Some ideas are better than others. Impulse Bathrooms have come up with one of the better ones for their back-to-wall WC pans in response to feed back from plumbers, installers and retailers. By remodelling the trap way and horizontal outlet on their fully back-to-wall close coupled pans it now provides the option of a P or S connection. This gives an easy to install neat and most importantly secure connection between spigot and connector. When installed for S configuration (i.e. discharging down through the floor) Impulse can also supply their own 90º S connector which is fully adjustable and can be fixed in position braced back to the wall. This enables the pan to be pushed back to the wall and on to the connector and gives an excellent fitting which is both positive and reliable.
The Impulse Bathrooms 90º connectors have been especially designed to prevent slipping off which can be the case with some connectors as they can tend to deform slightly on connecting and subsequently slip off a tapered spigot. The manufacture of the Impulse connector is such that any irregularities in the spigot are accommodated and height adjustments can be taken in its stride. This ensures a secure, permanent joint which, with back-to-wall pans, is an area where the trappage, is unseen.
The horizontal outlet spigot is a feature of five suites from the Impulse Bathrooms fashion range. They include upper market Zeto BTW and Radius Deluxe suites, Constance, Valero and Odessa II.
When it comes to joints in concealed areas, it is better to be safe than sorry - a policy which customers will certainly welcome.
