Polyflor is pleased to announce that an extensive collection of it’s flooring products have just been installed in the new Maternity Unit at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth for Hywel Dda University Health Board.
The new hospital marks a major investment of £38million by the Welsh Assembly Government, the maternity unit of which opened in April 2014.
Craftsman Flooring Ltd of Swansea installed over 5000m2 of 2000 PUR, Pearlazzo PUR, Polysafe Hydro Evolve, Polysafe Standard PUR and Polysafe Wood FX PUR. This vast array of products featured through the delivery suits, as well as the usual support rooms and offices.
Ideally suited to the demands of high traffic healthcare environments, Polyflor 2000 PUR offers a range of 20 multi-tone shades and features Polyflor’s renowned PUR maintenance enhancement. Cross-linked and UV cured, Polyflor’s PUR is a super strength polyurethane reinforcement which facilitates a lifelong polish-free maintenance regime and optimum appearance retention. The product achieves a BRE Global environmental A+ rating and is 100% recyclable and UK manufactured.
Installed within the bathroom areas was Polysafe Hydro Evolve. Ideal for continually wet/barefoot areas within commercial and recreational settings such as walk-in showers, Hydro Evolve meets HSE and UK Slip Group Guidelines to deliver sustained slip resistance throughout the guaranteed life of the product. It also achieves 36+ on the RRL Pendulum wet test with a surface roughness of 20 microns and above.
All Polyflor vinyl flooring is 100% recyclable via the Recofloor recycling scheme and contains recycled content.
