Exhibition & Webinar Tue, Mar 22, 2016 5:29 PM
This year’s Ecobuild (ExCeL, London, 4-6th March) will see Polypipe Ventilation display its full range of energy saving ventilation products, including the Silavent Green Line range of centralised mechanical ventilation appliances, alongside the next generation of Domus Radial duct systems and a new stylish Silavent axial fan offering.
The Domus Radial semi-rigid duct system has been re-engineered by Polypipe to incorporate a new innovative 125mm deep manifold – less than half the depth of the former version, its ultra slimline size makes it ideal for installation between loft joists or in tight spaces. The smaller manifold size also allows for greater location flexibility, removing the need to place the manifold adjacent to the centralised appliance.
To maximise air flow and versatility the new Radial manifold can now also be integrated with Domus rigid duct systems by connecting directly from the centralised appliance through Domus Megaduct 220x90mm or Domus Easipipe Ø150mm ducting. As an added benefit to the homeowner the Radial system also features a dual outlet plenum, designed to reduce duct resistance and improve appliance operation and efficiency.
Also featured on the stand for the first time is Polypipe’s compact (125mm deep) Silavent Green Line CMX Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) unit, alongside their award winning Silavent Green Line HRX and HRX2 Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) range, which boasts the highest available heat exchange performance on the SAP Appendix Q register; and a new Silavent Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) unit to address condensation in existing properties.
Polypipe’s intermittent extract fan range will also be exhibited this year, including a stylish new energy efficient axial fan, aesthetically designed to fit with modern interior design in bathrooms or toilets. Silavent fans provide rapid, local extraction of stale air and include axial, centrifugal and in-line options. The range includes Silavent Green Line energy efficient fans for customers looking to exceed 2010 Building Regulations and help reduce the carbon emissions of properties.
A section of the stand will also showcase other Polypipe group products in the areas of carbon efficiency and water management. These will include Polypipe Building Products’ geothermal piping solutions and ‘Rainstream’ domestic rainwater harvesting systems.
Polypipe Ventilation is at the forefront in delivering energy-efficient solutions and plays a vital role in helping customers to achieve the higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes by supplying Energy Saving Trust best practice compliant products as part of a fully specifiable solutions package. Polypipe Ventilation’s product offering is backed up with a range of support services, from technical support, web site and literature through to BPEC approved installer training.
