Polypipe, the UK’s leading manufacturer of plastic sustainable drainage and water management products, is getting the adrenaline flowing with an exciting new competition.
The company, which designs and manufactures more than 20,000 product lines in the UK, is offering thrill seekers a track day driving experience at Silverstone to mark the launch of its new Permavoid system.
One lucky winner will win a day pass for two at the legendary Silverstone circuit and have the opportunity to hit the track in a single seat race car, receiving a complete race day experience. The competition is free to enter via a dedicated Permavoid competition page hosted by Polypipe.
As exclusive licensee to the new Permavoid System, Polypipe customers can now access the widest range of geocellular water management solutions on the market, for both shallow and deep applications.
The Permavoid system can be used directly below porous paving and drain asphalt surfaces or below impermeable top surfaces as a source control technique. It also provides integrated water treatment, removing silt and breaking down hydrocarbons as part of a wider water management and treatment solution.
Designed and tested to be used in place of a traditional aggregate sub-base, the highly sustainable Permavoid system improves reliability and storage volumes, with its ability to capture water at source an important element when complying with the Flood and Water Management Act 2010.
Emma Nicholls, Marketing Communications Manager at Polypipe, said: “The launch of the Permavoid System is an exciting time for Polypipe and makes our geocellular range wider than ever. Permavoid is light, manoeuvrable and expertly engineered just like a race car, so a track day at Silverstone seemed like an ideal way to launch the product.
“The ability of Permavoid to be combined with the existing Polystorm geocellular system creates even more opportunities to help customers quickly arrive at the very best water management solution for their project. We’re certain that the competition will be as well received as Permavoid has been by the market, and we look forward to announcing our lucky winner in due course.”
