Polypipe is pleased to announce it is now able to provide comprehensive and interactive on-line training support for customers on its extensive range of plastic piping systems, through on-line training provider Cortexa.
The website has been designed for distribution partners as an easily accessible training tool for the full range of Polypipe training modules and, for those customers with their own bespoke academies, as an additional valuable resource. It will enable customers to further their Polypipe product knowledge, keep up to date with latest product developments and even to train and test branch staff.
Training modules available through the new site include ventilation, plastic plumbing, underfloor heating and above and below ground drainage.
Polypipe’s ventilation training module has been designed to help distribution partners understand why effective methods of ventilation are required within dwellings and to assist with the specification and management of customer enquiries, as well as to enhance their knowledge of the Polypipe Ventilation product range.
Understanding Plastic Plumbing examines Polypipe’s extensive range of plumbing solutions, including Polyplumb, Polyfit and Polysure, and also features a comprehensive list of FAQs which are intended to help answer commonly asked questions merchants often come across.
Polypipe’s underfloor heating module covers the full range of Underfloor and Overlay Heating Systems, including key design and installation features for new build, retro and 'built-on' solutions. It also explains how to effectively use the Polypipe on-line 1-2-3 and MHP Product Selectors.
Two above ground drainage modules are included, one for residential and the other for commercial. The residential module provides an overview of the market and explores Soil & Vent, Waste, Traps and Rainwater product ranges, looking at the main installation methods for each system. The commercial module looks at Polypipe Terrain’s history and experience in product design and large scale commercial projects and explains the purpose and benefits of its PVC and HDPE Soil and Waste Systems.
The below ground drainage module explains the Polypipe system and how it functions, whilst also introducing the audience to the wide range of component products available.
At the end of each course there is an assessment to check that the information has been correctly understood, with a pass mark of 75% required. There is no time limit on the assessment and visitors to the module can have multiple attempts until they pass.
In addition to the on-line training modules, www.online-training.polypipe.com features useful advice in the form of installation tips and product videos, downloadable brochures and the latest news, articles and case studies. For companies wishing to delve deeper, hyperlinks to www.polypipe.com have been incorporated allowing immediate access to more detailed product information.
The website is available to all Polypipe distributors following a quick and simple one time registration process.
Polypipe designs, develops and manufactures the widest range of plastic piping products, with over 20,000 product lines for the residential, commercial, civils and infrastructure market sectors. It provides high quality drainage, water supply, water management solutions, plastic plumbing and ventilation systems that enable the effective installation and performance of sustainable building technology, meeting the twin global challenges of carbon reduction and water management.
