Reading University has appointed family owned construction, property services and civil engineering firm Osborne as one of four contractors on their construction framework. The Framework is split into “Lots” and the “lot” that Osborne are in is for work of £1 million plus.
The framework, worth a total of £40m, will see Osborne tender against Morgan Sindall, Warings and Mansell for a mixture of refurbishment, new build and extension project work throughout the university campus. The framework will run until August 2016.
John Craig, Head of Osborne’s education team, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by the University of Reading to its framework contract. Osborne has extensive framework experience, and this is a great opportunity to use that experience to deliver real benefits to the University. We look forward to working closely with them over the next four years and contributing to their continued success.”
