NHBC is holding a series of ‘Building For Tomorrow’ seminars across the UK during March and April, to help builders equip themselves with the right knowledge to build tomorrow’s homes.

At the seminars experts from organisations like Cyril Sweett and the Zero Carbon Hub, as well as from NHBC, will advise on a range of topics including:

  • The implications of the Flood & Water Management Bill for home builders
  • Achieving compliance to Part L of building regulations
  • The impact  of the low carbon agenda on land viability
  • Planning for future energy standards and building regulations
  • Sharing knowledge on defects to raise standards

There will also be the chance to network and share insight with other house builders.

Nick Cunningham, Regional Director at NHBC, said: “Our annual seminar series is specifically designed to help builders understand and keep up to date both with new or forthcoming requirements in house building and changes to existing legislation. By holding these seminars, and a range of other training sessions, we hope to help builders meet best practice and standards in the construction of housing.”
