New Rhino Deck saves time and money

Deborah Services – specialists in non-mechanical construction equipment - promoted new Rhino Load Deck at the Executive Hire Show recently.

Available to buy or hire, Rhino Load Deck saves time and money by its fast assembly and ability to raise productivity by taking heavy loads of both tools and materials.

“One of the most stable systems on the market, builders and bricklayers like how you can load up Rhino Deck - up to 600Kg/m2 - and it’s safe up to 3m as well as freestanding so you don’t need a wall for lateral support,” says Roger Hastie, Deborah Services’ divisional director.

“But we’re finding it has equal appeal for joiners, roofers, plasterers and painters alike.”

Easier to install, dismantle, move and store than traditional birdcage scaffold, two workmen can fit 50m2 of Rhino Deck in an hour as its robust, precision components fit together securely without using hand tools.

Matt Gwinnett of Gwinns Ltd has used Rhino Deck and says: “The boys love Rhino Deck.  It’s easy to erect and we’ve been moving it from bay to bay in a barn – to plaster, paint, the lot.  It’s so easy to dismantle and reassemble.  After a couple of days, you gain confidence using it, you feel safe up there but at first it’s hard to get your head round the weight it will take.  We’ve had four men up there with a scaffold tower no problem.”

Tried and tested to be HSE compliant with a five-year warranty, Rhino Deck flexes to fit irregular floor plans so fills in dangerous gaps.  Guardrails, posts and ladders can also be added.

“We can do site surveys, complete design layouts and even train the erectors,” says Roger Hastie.  “We’re happy to sell it to you but our rental rates are so competitive, most hire as they like us to take away both the hassle of maintenance and storage as well as free their cash flow instead of looking at an asset sitting in their yard waiting for the next relevant job to come along.”
