Longden the bespoke manufacturer of hand crafted, hardwood doorsets is pleased to reveal its latest design, the Hepplewhite panel.
Adding to Longden’s large array of outstanding interior styles, the Hepplewhite panel offers stunning features of a traditional panelled door with a contemporary twist.
Additionally, the Hepplewhite can be specified with glazed panels - adding that extra bit of light into a room – as well as being available in a variety of FSC accredited hardwoods including European Oak, Rock Maple and American Black Walnut.
The Hepplewhite panel is available in 32mm or 45mm thick panels, with the gap between the panels, stile and rails of the door being 10mm. The 45mm thick panels are the same width as the door itself – providing that sleek, flush finish.
In order to meet the stringent requirements of the Building Regulations, specifiers can choose from a number of fire and sound performance characteristics, such as a 60 minute fire rating and up to 37RwdB sound reduction.
In addition to this, Longden manufactures to current British Standards including BS476 Part 22 and Part 31.1 for fire and smoke control, and BS8214 – the code of practice for fire doors with non-metallic leaves.
