NEW ONLINE PRESENCE FOR ASHWORTH

Further expanding its online presence, Ashworth, the UK’s leading supplier to the mechanical services and process industries markets, can now be found on three social media channels – offering improved access to information and support for its customers.

The move comes following a period of online growth for the company, which saw the launch of a new and improved website last year, designed to make it easier for visitors to find the information they need quickly and efficiently. The new social media profiles, which have been established on Facebook, Twitter and Linked In, are an extension of this online presence and have been created to make it easier for customers to interact with the company on a day-to-day basis.

Paul Willocks, Marketing Manager at Ashworth, said: “One of our biggest commitments at Ashworth is to providing the best possible service we can in terms of advice and technical support, and the new social media channels are an additional way in which to do that.

“In the same way that we constantly seek out the latest and most innovative products, we are also dedicated to ensuring our customer service meets the changing needs of our client base. Many of our customers are out and about on site a lot of the time, and increasingly find it more convenient to access information via their mobile phones, which is where social media sits perfectly.”

As well as news about the latest product developments and ranges, Ashworth’s social media presence will concentrate on providing advice about relevant legislation and industry schemes, including the Feed-in-Tariff, Renewable Heat Incentive and Microgeneration Certification Scheme, acting as a valuable information resource.
