Hanson Structherm has produced a new CPD seminar which has been approved by both CPD UK and RIBA.
Titled ‘Sustainable External Wall Insulation solutions for the social housing market’, the module provides specifiers, architects, engineers, local authorities and housing associations with information on the company’s External Wall Insulation (EWI) and Structural External Wall Insulation (SEWI) systems.
EWI system provides an efficient and cost effective way of improving the thermal performance of a building, resulting in reduced emissions and lower energy bills. SEWI systems offer the same benefits but also provide structural stability and can be used to extend the life of defective properties. Both systems allow refurbishment work to be carried out while residents remain in their homes, minimising disruption.
