Evergreen Energy Solutions, one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers and installers of renewable energy products, has revealed its new wood pellet-condensing (biomass) boiler.
As the first bout of bad weather hit the UK yesterday, and with British Gas announcing it has put 10,000 engineers on red alert because they expect to receive almost 250,000 calls for help from customers having boiler problems, Evergreen Energy Solutions say they have the answer when it comes to keeping your boiler running throughout the cold winters.
James Woollard, managing director at Evergreen Energy Solutions explains further: “Our new biomass boilers are the perfect solution to the cold snap. They are highly efficient, reliable, and because you’re heating with wood, they give you complete independence from energy suppliers. So when everybody’s sat at home or in the office, waiting for their energy supplier to turn-up and fix their boilers, ours will be working away thanks to the high quality build and easy to use controls.”
Using advanced controls which cleverly regulate the amount of fuel (wood pellets) being delivered to the burner to match the heat demand, these new boilers make the daily operation and the maintenance of them an easy task. Ensuring they work throughout even the toughest conditions, and continue to provide heat for homes and businesses.
James adds: “All our biomass boilers are also installed with fully automatic cleaning systems, which helps massively reduce any breakdowns, and also reduces maintenance under normal running conditions, to only once per year.”
The biomass boilers come off the back of the launch of Evergreen Energy Solution’s new Ecocent air to water heat pumps, which the company brought to the UK market last month.
The Ecocent air to water heat pumps generate domestic hot water from heat within a building that would otherwise be wasted or used very inefficiently.
James comments: “Like our new biomass boilers, our Ecocent air to water heat pumps are the perfect solution to fighting the cold weather. They have been stylishly designed to fit in most airing cupboards and are a perfect cost-effective replacement for traditional pressurized hot water tanks, which so often pack up during the winter months. Ecocent is reliable and effective.”
Indeed, and due to each unit’s high energy efficiency, they are more environmentally friendly than conventional water heating systems too, utilising minimal ‘Ozone Depleting Potential’ (ODP) refrigerants. Each Ecocent unit can also produce over 1000 litres of hot water a day with energy savings of up to 75%.
