Global designer and manufacturer of premium showers and tapware, Methven UK, has become the preferred supplier of bathroom brassware and showering solutions to housebuilder, Wainhomes.
Wainhomes, which has developments across the north and south west of England, was looking to upgrade the specification of its new build bathrooms and installed basin and bath taps from Deva by Methven’s Insignia range of brassware. Following a successful trial, Insignia has now become the standard specification for all Wainhomes’ future sites.
As part of Wainhomes’ commitment to accessibility and the Code for Sustainable Homes, the company also conducted a trial of Methven’s Maku ‘cool to touch’ thermostatic bar shower. Methven’s most affordable Satinjet shower to date, Maku includes a safety temperature hot stop at 38° with an override button for those who want a warmer shower and an eco flow control for reduced water consumption. The shower uses cool touch technology to keep the bar safe to touch and suitable for all the family.
Methven’s unique Satinjet technology uses twin-jets of water that collide, producing thousands of tiny droplets that feel soft enough for the face, yet invigorating enough for the entire body. A Satinjet shower is optimised at just nine litres per minute allowing users to shower at lower water flow rates while still providing a wonderful sensory and luxurious experience.
The Maku will now feature in 350 new Wainhomes properties across the North West.
