The unrivalled Masterdor Thermal Fire door, which is suitable for domestic and commercial use, delivers excellent thermal performance, as well as structural strength and a high resistance to warping, bowing and twisting, in the event of a fire, acting as a reliable barrier to the passage of smoke and/or fire for a full hour.
Tested in accordance with British Standard EN1634-1, the Masterdor Thermal Fire door passed 60-minute time-temperature curve tests at temperatures of up to 1000°c to achieve excellent fire integrity rating. Furthermore, the door achieved 60-minute success on thermal containment, to ensure the heat from the fire does not transfer through the door.
The Masterdor, made-to-measure doors boast an impressive 600 Pa air permeability level, the best possible standard of air tightness, which reduces heat loss through the seal of a door on an everyday basis, and also prevents the spread of flames and smoke in a fire.

The door materials combine to deliver the ultra low 1.0 U-Value, as well as optimum differential movement, which prevents the door sticking in the frame regardless of varying temperatures and weather conditions, and allows the fire door to maintain its structural integrity when in contact with fire. Moreover, the Masterdor Thermal Fire door easily exceeds the thermal performance required by Part L of Building Regulations.
A specially developed, vacuum-applied ASA thermoplastic film is used to create a long lasting, flawless finish, without the need for painting and gives long-term colour stability.
