Over 3.5 million passengers travel on Britain’s rail and underground network each weekday and this figure has continued to rise year on year and is forecast to double over the next decade. As a result, record expenditure has been planned by the Department for Transport, Network Rail, and Transport for London for the coming years. This investment, which is focused on increasing capacity, improving safety, access and sustainability, will transform the network for passengers.
Marshalls, the UK’s leading hard landscaping company, has launched its Rail Landscapes offer with a new brochure and website designed to demonstrate how Marshalls hard landscaping products can enhance the passenger experience from arrival at the station to boarding.
Marshalls response to this is the launch of a new rail landscapes offer which includes products from across the Group, ranging from Marshalls core products such as paving and water management to natural stone and street furniture. Marshalls extensive range of hard landscaping products can be used to create a positive journey from the station interface to the platform edge.
The new brochure, which can be used in conjunction with other product specific literature such as Marshalls popular PS3, PS3.1 and Street Furniture Product Selector, includes concise information about the breadth of Marshalls product offer and includes case studies on recent projects Marshalls has undertaken.
In addition to the brochure, a new Rail Landscapes web page has also been launched. This includes the brochure in downloadable pdf format and rail specific case studies. For more information visit www.marshalls.co.uk/rail or contact our brochure hotline on 08702 414 012.
