Istanbul’s largest hotel, the Hilton Bomonti Hotel and Conference Centre, has officially opened its doors to guests. Project managed by international consultancy and construction company, Mace, the hotel offers 829 rooms across 34-storeys, as well as a total meeting and events capacity of 6,350 people.
Mace worked closely with the client’s development management and contracting teams to successfully deliver this multi-million Euro development. A key challenge to the delivery was the sheer volume of guest rooms that had to be finished and handed over, to a five-star level of quality, and in keeping with an ambitious 36-month schedule.
The hotel features a 12,000 square metre conference and event area - the largest in the city, and 3,300 square metres of ‘eforea: spa at Hilton’ with 14 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a gym. The facilities also include two pillar free high ceiling ballrooms, state-of-the-art meeting rooms equipped with iRoom applications, large outdoor terraces ideal for weddings and social occasions, The Globe Restaurant with four live cooking stations, and ‘Cloud 34’, a sophisticated cocktail bar on the 34th floor with views across Istanbul and the Bosphorus.
